About cerebral palsy
Cerebral palsy (CP) is a group of lifelong conditions that affect movement, muscle tone and posture. It's caused by differences in the developing brain, and how it affects each person varies widely.
Some people need little support; others need help with mobility, eating and drinking, communication and personal care, sometimes including high intensity supports.
